In addition to the Bad Tatzmannsdorfer Kur®, which aims to alleviate pain in the musculoskeletal and support system, the REDUCE health resort also offers you the new prevention model of the pension insurance institution "Gesundheitsvorsorge Aktiv" - GVA for short.
The focus is on the way to a healthy lifestyle, but the local natural remedies - bog, carbonated mineral water and thermal water, to which Bad Tatzmannsdorf owes its fame - are also used when medical need arises.
As part of the GVA, a competent team of doctors, dieticians, physiotherapists, sports scientists, medical massage therapists and health psychologists takes care of the patients. The common goal is, in addition to pain relief, the sustainable improvement of fitness and quality of life.
There are four ways of receiving a cure:
1. Private health or private health retreat
During a private stay, you have to pay for the full costs for the therapy, doctors, accommodation and food. Depending on the contract partner there are options for reimbursement with cure cost subsidies or cooperations with private insurers.
2. You receive a costs subsidy (Kurkostenzuschuss) from your public pension scheme or your health insurance institute and then choose the length of your stay and accommodation yourself.
3. Your social insurance provider authorises the stay ...
... and you stay in one of the relevant houses of the REDUCE Health Resort Bad Tatzmannsdorf. To receive authorisation from your social insurance provider you simply need to make a request for a cure stay. This must be issued by a doctor (GP or specialist) or a hospital department. You can find out which social insurance providers Bad Tatzmannsdorf has agreements with and how to request at www.reduce.at.
